David Byrne

David joined Aurex Group in 2017 as a Managing Director and Partner. He leads Aurex Group’s Gas, Power, and Renewables portfolio in the Americas. With over 15 years of experience placing senior commercial professionals with clients across the USA and Canada, David has an in-depth understanding of the North American Energy markets.

Prior to Aurex Group, David worked as an energy derivatives broker and helped to establish and manage the Natural Gas and Power recruitment practice for a commodity-focused search firm. He has a Bachelor of Administration in Marketing from the University of Surrey in London.
